Alan Salzman has been a venture investor to technology companies since the early 1980s. He is founder and Managing Partner for VantagePoint Venture Partners, one of the highest performing venture capital firms in the world.

Salzman has funded more than 100 startup companies who have collectively created over $30 billion of shareholder value. His investment experience includes technology companies at all stages of development, including conceptualizing, co-founding and serving as the initial CEO of newly created technology companies. An author and frequent lecture, Salzman also maintains a faculty appointment at Stanford Law School as a professor of Venture Capital and Start-Up Companies - it's the only course of its kind in the U.S.
