Kathy Owen is excited to be back at MicroSkills after working as a Career Development Advisor from 2001-2003. She attended a four year college in Missouri where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Equine Science and Business Administration. Yes, she is an animal lover, but her interest in computers came from growing up around her father who could fix or repair anything, including computers. She has been working for IT training companies since 1999 and obtained her A+ certification in 2001.
As a Career Development Advisor at MicroSkills, Kathy’s goal is to help each and every student who would like to make a positive change in their life be successful. She enjoys meeting with prospective students to identify their individual goals and has a passion for helping them develop a plan to succeed. Some of the highlights of her job include watching students advance their skills, obtain new certifications, and land their new IT job. |
